Article 1: Reservations
Reservations for our private tours to destinations like Volendam, Brussels, and more can be made online through our website, wetouramsterdam.com, or by email at [email protected]. We will confirm all bookings via email. A reservation is considered valid only after wetouramsterdam has received a prepayment or full payment. Failure to receive a prepayment will render the reservation invalid.
For tours originating within Amsterdam or from AMS Schiphol Airport, bookings made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time are guaranteed vehicle and driver availability. For bookings made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure, we will endeavor to secure a vehicle and driver. In the event of unavailability, we will cancel the booking and issue a full refund.
Should the requested vehicle be unavailable, we will contact you to offer an alternative. If we are unable to reach you, we will provide the alternative vehicle for your tour.
Changes to your reservation can be made without additional costs up to 7 days before the scheduled pickup time. Changes made within 7 days may incur additional fees.
Article 2: Liability
The customer is always responsible for their own safety and the behavior of their party. Any damages to the vehicle caused by passengers will be charged to the customer. Smoking, drug use, and the consumption of personal food or beverages are strictly prohibited within the vehicles. A minimum cleaning fee of €250 will be charged for any sickness resulting in vehicle soiling.
Article 3: Arrival Instructions
Upon arrival at the airport, we request you switch on your mobile phone to receive a text message from our chauffeur with meeting instructions. If you cannot locate our chauffeur or reach them by phone, please contact WeTourAmsterdam immediately. In the event of a flight delay, notify us promptly to adjust your pickup time without additional costs, up to a maximum delay of 5 hours.
Article 4: Transfers
Our rates are valid only for transfers within Amsterdam or from/to AMS Schiphol Airport. Bookings with pickup or drop-off locations outside these areas will incur additional charges based on the extra distance/time from Amsterdam. An additional fee of a minimum of €50 will apply for any extra stops during a transfer.
Article 5: Waiting Time
For international and European flights, 45 minutes of free waiting time is included after the plane has landed. For city transfers or transfers to the airport, 15 minutes of free waiting time is included after the departure time. Beyond these periods, additional waiting time will incur a minimum charge of €50 for flights and €30 for city transfers, depending on the duration of the wait.
Article 6: Hourly/As Directed
The minimum booking for Hourly/As Directed services is 4 hours, starting from and returning to our garage in Amsterdam. Additional kilometers will incur extra charges based on the vehicle type.
Article 7: Force Majeure
WeTourAmsterdam is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, such as accidents, unexpected traffic jams, breakdowns, police checkpoints, terrorism, extreme weather conditions, or a malfunctioning reservation system.
Article 8: Lost Property
WeTourAmsterdam.com is not responsible for items lost within our vehicles.
Article 9: Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure incur no fee. Cancellations made between 2-7 days of the departure will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 2 days of the departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Article 10: No Show Policy
In case of a no-show, the full amount will be charged with no refund. Specific conditions apply for airport pickups and city transfers as detailed in this article.
Article 11: Discount Codes
Discount codes are valid only for services approved by WeTourAmsterdam and may be revoked in cases of fraud.
Article 12: Vehicles
WeTourAmsterdam ensures our vehicles are regularly maintained to prevent breakdowns. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, we will arrange for an alternative vehicle, or the customer will be compensated for the remainder of the journey. We aim to provide Mercedes vehicles for all tours. If a Mercedes vehicle is unavailable, an equivalent vehicle will be provided.
Article 13: Rates
Our rates include all local taxes, meet & greet services at the airport with a nameplate, free Wi-Fi on board, and bottled water, included 9% VAT. Night surcharges of 15% apply between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM.
Article 14: Payments
Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, and iDEAL. For bank transfers, the full amount must be received (no shared bank costs). A 3% additional fee applies to payments made with a credit card or PayPal.
Article 15: On-Time Guarantee
We offer a 100% on-time pickup guarantee. If your driver is more than 10 minutes late, you will receive a 50% discount on your transfer (up to €50) or 1 free hour on your sightseeing tour or hourly service, except in cases of force majeure.
Article 16: Privacy
WeTourAmsterdam complies with GDPR legislation, ensuring the data we collect is necessary for providing our services. We handle your information with care and do not sell it to third parties.
Article 17: Copyright
Third parties are not permitted to use and/or copy texts and/or photos from the WeTourAmsterdam website. Any unauthorized use will result in legal action.
